Is running your business starting to burn you out or keep you stuck?

BOOKING
People want to work with you, but the process is more complicated than it needs to be. Too many manual steps. Too many links. Too much back and forth. Too much depending on you.

ONBOARDING
The client said yes. Now what? If every new client requires you to remember what to send, explain, collect, or set up, there is a gap in the process.

DELIVERY
You know how to deliver your service, but the way the work gets done may still live mostly in your head. When business gets busy, timelines, communication, handoffs, and consistency can start slipping.

RETENTION
Great clients should not disappear simply because there was no process for what happens next. Rebooking, renewals, follow up, testimonials, referrals, and offboarding all need a clear next step.

I know what it looks like when the business looks fine on the outside, but behind the scenes too much still depends on you. I started Costley Virtual Support as a virtual assistant and eventually grew into operations and executive support, working closely with entrepreneurs at different stages of business.
Over time, I noticed the same patterns again and again. The owner is capable. The clients may be coming in. The offers may be selling. There is still unfinished business behind the scenes. Booking processes rely too heavily on the owner. Onboarding changes from client to client. Workflows live mostly in someone’s head. Systems exist but are not being used well. Tasks could be simplified, documented, delegated, connected, or automated. That is the work I naturally find myself doing. I identify the gaps, connect the dots, and help build what comes next. Business Detention turns that work into a five week live experience. This is not about making your business perfect. It is about finally handling the unfinished business that keeps getting pushed to the side.

Supporting Businesses Taught Me This...
I was able to quit my corporate 9 to 5.
Growth will expose what is not working. What works when business is light may not hold up when more clients, offers, or moving pieces get added.
Manual does not automatically mean broken. The real question is whether the work actually needs you every single time.
A tool cannot fix a bad process. Before you add another subscription, figure out what is actually not working.
Clarity makes support easier. It is hard to delegate, automate, or hand work off when the process only exists in your head.
Business Detention helps you look at how your business actually operates so you can make better decisions about what to keep, clarify, remove, connect, automate, document, or delegate.
So what happens in Business Detention?
Business Detention is a guided five week live guided operations intensive for service based business owners who are ready to handle the unfinished business behind their business.
Each week, we focus on one part of how your business operates. You’ll learn what to look for, complete a Business Check using your actual business, identify what is working and what needs attention, and use the Business Detention Aid to help you make sense of what you uncover. You’ll leave each session with a Detention Assignment so the work does not stop when the Zoom ends.

Build a roadmap designed to move when you do...

Business Detention is designed to give you more than advice. You'll build a working Operations Roadmap that turns what you uncover each week into trackable work you can move, manage, and/or delegate.
